Rare Pair of 19th Century Large Chinese Cloisonné Vases On Stands. These vases are designed using the Cloisonné technique wherein metal wire is used to divide sections of vase, then filled with enamel to create intricate designs. The pattern used on this pair of vases is a Chinese traditional floral pattern with flowers and fauna with vibrant colors of blue, green, yellow, and white. The stands are on wooden stands which elevate the vases, giving them more prominence and ensuring stability. There is a Chinese marking on the bottom of the vases.
Height measurement of vases alone is 29". Height with stands is 47".
