Ceramic figure "Madonna with Child" designed by Alois Schulz for the ceramics manufacturer Thomasch Austria.
Alois Schulz was a ceramic artist from Goldscheid; he modeled over 100 figures for Thomasch between 1954 and 1957.
Thomasch Austria in Sierndorf was closed in 1969.
Wilhelm Thomasch (1893-1964) worked for Goldscheider in his early days.
Ceramic figurine in excellent condition, made in the 1950s/60s.
