A pair of oldies but goodies, these two antique duck decoys were discovered in a house on Sandy Neck in the marshlands of Sandwich, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. They are true working decoys. They may have been repainted years ago in an attempt to keep them good for hunting, not for resale. Both have iron weights on their bases. Both weigh 2.5lbs each. No signatures. Overall very good condition, missing some eyes, period wear and patina consistent with age and use. The photos tell the story. No serious damage.
