Sourced from the estate of a World War II British Military Officer (pictured in the last photo), this solid bronze horse head sculpture was acquired during his subsequent travels as a diplomat. Although it’s exact provenance is unknown, it was likely acquired during the first half of the 20th Century.
Great heft in the hand and gravitas on the shelf, this bit of history has verdigris and patina for days. A solid and substantial piece and a unique add to any collection.
