Louis XVI style clock in gilded bronze and porcelain: the base is very richly decorated: putti heads, garlands of flowers, knots and rosettes and porcelain plaques decorated with golden foliage on a pink background, around the edge. The dial is delicately decorated with putti and flowers.
This clock is topped with a covered vase in pink porcelain, held on each side by bronze mermaids
Beautiful quality of bronze work and porcelain decoration, wear, old restorations to the foot, to the lid of the vase and to the neck of the vase; missing some enamel pearls.
The porcelain plates are numbered and bear the HD mark
