Luigi giarré horse breeds known in europe florence 1822. Series of nine lithographs designed in stone by the painter luigi giarrè and printed by the ridolfi lithograph. These are nine prints of the original twelve accompanied by the legend of the collection (slightly smaller in size) which reads lithographic work by the painter luigi giarré containing the most beautiful breeds of horses known in europe expressed in the following order i norman horse ii called arab iii called englishman (runner) iv called spanish v neapolitan horse vi called egyptian vii roman horses viii turkish horse ix tartar horse german xii english horses florence 1822 for sale at the giarré studio in piazza del granduca. The prints are in good condition, with a wide margin and show minimal signs of foxing in some. They are presented within a wooden frame molded and lacquered in sienese yellow. This piece has an attribution mark,
