Spectacular 20th century French patinated iron chain link floor lamp in the iconic manner and style of Franz West. The lamp features a welded column of large 2 inch nautical chain links in the industrial brutalist style. The column is supported by a dramatic three leg base with each leg conjoined by loose chain links that drape or hang slightly. The nautical style legs have small spikes or spurs that support them. The iron has been repainted in a semi-gloss black lacquer with an aged, patinated texture on the finish. Heavy with a unique profile. From an estate in Hollywood, CA. Shade not included.
