This sink is in excellent condition for it's 62 years with no damage, very few blemishes, and a nice glossy … Read more This sink is in excellent condition for it's 62 years with no damage, very few blemishes, and a nice glossy overall finish. Although there is no crazing and no blemishes that really stand out, and the fact that the ones detailed are very minor, this is what was found to point out from top to bottom: The sink was just about encased in a layer of soap residue when we received it, and even after the pictures were processed, we were still removing small spots that were missed. If there is an area in the pictures that look like damage or wear, and it is not mentioned below, it is soap residue. The top horizontal section at the back is very good overall. There are some small, faint scratches around the edges, otherwise all is fine. Most of the time we remove the faucet handles and spout as they are too deteriorated to include. In this case, they look good with chrome that is in good shape. Although they have not been recently tested with water, the handles' movement feels correct. The vertical section where the faucet is attached is fine overall, and the two end pieces are very good. The horizontal area running around the bowl has some very light scratches and a tiny (0.05") chip on the front at the edge of the bowl. The interior of the bowl is fine down the sides to the bottom with only some light scratches and a few small, shallow chips, the largest measuring 0.08". The outside of the sink - front and sides are excellent with no dings and is virtually blemish free. The entire bottom of the sink is fine. There is no damage or wear and it looks good overall. The legs are new and are of the style used on sinks of this age. The tops and bottoms are chrome plated, and the legs are shiny steel, but not chrome plated.
