This Mr. Brainwash rare authentic lithograph print Pop Art poster " Art Cannot be Criticized Because Every Mistake is a New Creation " is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The world famous French born and Los Angeles based " Mr. Brainwash " is a name used by the Street artist Thierry Guetta. Known for his colorful social commentary Street Art Pop Art style images of iconic people. His vibrant palette and imitation of Pop artists like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring add a puckish wink to his intentionally derivative persona.
Sly and playful with his juxtaposition of the cultural idols of the past and today he portrays including Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. Mr. Brainwash works among a new group of World Art infamous stars including Shepard Fairey and Banksy.
The poster depicts a wonderful inspirational slogan as suggested by the artist himself " Art cannot be Criticized because Every Mistake is a New Creation ". The black and white typography has incredible layered multicolor collage type image details in the lettering of the phrase.
The rare out of print Pop Art poster is printed on smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors. The poster measures 23" W X 23" H.
