The brass cage itself is dangling from a brass talon gently holding the cage in place. The cage is brass with green paint and a brass painted name plate around the rim. The iron stand is bowed to accommodate the cage and a heavy pedestal base to support. The iron is also painted green with brass ornaments going up and down the stem. Is an extraordinary addition for an extraordinary home. Conditions are still good for its antique age. See less
