A handsome late 19th-century French writing desk in the Louis XIII style, sourced directly from Provence, France. Expertly hand-crafted from solid walnut, it features a naturally aged patina with rich brown tones and distinctive wood grain. The desk has been structurally restored and is solid, stable, and ready for daily use. It is fronted by a spacious storage drawer with dovetail construction and a wooden knob. The apron clearance measures 25.5" from the floor to the bottom of the drawer, offering comfortable legroom.
