They were designed by Sigvard Bernadotte … Read more A stunning and very rare pair of vintage Danish armchairs in beech and leather. They were designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for France & Daverkosen in 1953, this pair dates from the 1950’s.

They are of superb quality and have a beautiful design, they are also very comfortable. The backs are attached with brass pivot joints, which allows them to tilt and recline slightly.

We have had the seats re-upholstered in black leather, the frames have been completely stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. The condition is superb throughout for their age.

Seat height – 46 cm , 18 inches This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
