The right side of the dresser seems to have suffered the most damage. The lower edge of the right panel has chips in the wood. These could be better disguised with varnish. And there is a small gouge on the top left-hand side of the right panel, which appears to have been previously retouched with varnish. Repeatedly sliding the drawers out has caused the varnish to wear off in the center section of the bottom of some drawers (see photo), but this could easily be touched-up. The wood itself is not damaged here. Two decorative items are also missing -- one key hole embellishment, as well as the embellishment behind one of the round door pulls. less
