This gorgeous vintage quilt is made up of blue, pink, green, and white and appears to be a "spin" on … Read more This gorgeous vintage quilt is made up of blue, pink, green, and white and appears to be a "spin" on a Milky Way Pinwheel Pattern (quilter's interpretation). It is hand stitched through out and has a marking/label; "Fashioned by Mary G. Johnson"; It has been gently washed with non toxic soap and air dried for preservation. There do not appear to be any holes or damage, other than a few light discolorations/stains on front and back and there is one location on the front where either there was a stitch repair or the stitching is coming loose (please see photos); Easily repaired. It's dimensions are 93"L x 72"W. This is slightly bigger than a twin bed size and would make a great quilt for a young girl's room. This heirloom quilt was found in Raleigh, North Carolina.
