- This tapestry as the normal wares and restorations that can be expected for a piece of this age, the border … moreThis tapestry as the normal wares and restorations that can be expected for a piece of this age, the border is a more modern piece added on a later time during the restauration process, you will see on the tapestry itself 2 lines that show the piece as been put together again, also a few weak zone in the clear part were the silks were more used, see pictures mainly in one spot next to the head of the children playing music, but fairly limited, coloring mainly blue, green and beige give a stylish muted effect due to natural aging of color in this case just perfect result, so this piece can be consider in fairly good shape that would not require any more restoration just enjoyed again, please refer to pictures for details and coloring less
