The top of this 19th-Century English Victorian bird's eye maple bookcase sails over beaded frieze and three glazed doors all fitted with keyholes. The shelves are all height adjustable. The bookcase is decorated with floral inlays, all flanked by rounded pilasters, standing on a moulded, plinth base.
Built circa 1860, this sturdy (and pretty heavy) display cabinet/bookcase retains its original finish, soft color, and patina.
