The buffet shows a two over two … more Buffet hand-made in Italy in the early 1800s using walnut and pegged construction. The buffet shows a two over two layout, with two drawers on top of a two-door cabinet. The drawers are inset and show beautiful, hand-made dovetail joints, The top is made of three flat board with straight edges and breadboard at the ends. The sides are made of inset flat panels framed by square molding.
This is a beautiful, simple and elegant buffet that is small in size but can provide plenty of storage space. It's straight lines and bleached wood color give it a very modern look, despite being 200 years old. Despite having beaing bleached the wood still shows all the nicks and imperfections accumulated over time, giving the buffet stunning character. less
