In the project for the Monk chairs, Afra and Tobia Scarpa pay the utmost attention to the expressive qualities of the materials, studying shapes and finishes congenial to communicate them.
The seat and back are in original black Molteni leather, in excellent condition, fitted on two steel tubes according to a shape that makes the seat very comfortable.
The legs in solid national walnut are connected two by two by interlocking and clearly show the fixing of the crosspieces.
The general conditions are excellent with some tiny signs of aging on the leather, which give originality to the set.
