Two Samuri, Designed with a bordered central roundel in polychrome enamels and gilt
Japanese Satsuma from the Meiji Period (1868-1911). It is superbly decorated Two Samuri in gold on black background.
Satsuma-ware derives its name from the region of Satsuma, Japan, where the style of porcelain and ceramic works originated.
