What a beautiful Jardiniere and pedestal set! Created by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company, c. 1940’s-1950’s, Green Fern Leaves, #153. They are decorated with rosettes, fern leaves and ivy.
Assembled, its height reaches to 20.5” and at its widest point is 8”.
The jardiniere alone measures 7”H and weighs 4.2lbs.
While the top measures 7.5” and the bottom is 5.5”
The pedestal measures 14.5”H and weighs 7.8lbs.
Its top measures 6.5” and the bottom measures 8”
This set can be used as a pedestal and pot combo or as two pots—either way, it is a striking set!
The pedestal is stamped “R.R.P.Co., Roseville, Ohio, #153”. These are heavyweight pieces of glazed pottery and the bottom of the jardiniere has a beautiful “crackled” look in its glaze, that lends authenticity to its age. less
