The zigzag theme characteristic of the accordion folding is repeated by its overall shape which contradicts the rectangular format and by the crossings of its circuit which intersect the strips constituting the frame. The variation is in the work of the wood, engraved, varnished, left raw or painted black and unity through its texture. See less
