Two embossed … Read more This elegant 9 ½ in dinner plate from Haviland features a pink moss roses bouquet in the center. Two embossed handles, one at each side, are hand-painted in pink, and make for easy passing. We see this piece being used for crudités, pastries or any other small food items that need a little flair.

The wide border is edged in pink with two embossed handles at both ends.

There is a hallmark on the base that reads Haviland & Co Limoge inside a double circle and the letters H&C. with two lines underscoring it. The backstamps date this plate to between 1876 and 1886

MEASUREMENTS
10 in (25.4 cm) wide x 9 3/8 in (23.7 cm) tall x 1 in (2.5 cm) deep. Weighs 1 lb 1.4 oz.

CONDITION
There is a rim chip near one handle. Otherwise, the plate has no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a light scratch along the cavetto and light wear to the thin pink line surrounding the well. The enamels on the design are very fresh. See less
