Incredible one of a kind painting portrait of older man from artist William Weintraub. Oil on board. Signed. Beautiful framing and matting. Great middle eastern, mid century Jewish man/ Rabbi. Incredible colors. The detail is amazing. The expression on his face. Pictures don’t do justice. Incredible piece for your gallery wall.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland William Weintraub has become one of Israel's best known painters of Israeli people. Mr. Weintraub is a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Art. He studied under renound teacher Jacques Maroger. As a volunteer in the US Merchant Marines in 1944, Weintraub found his subjects in his trips to Europe and the Mediterranean. He has held successful one-man shows and participated in group exhibits in Israel and abroad.
