I purchased this beautiful oak pedestal table about a decade ago at an estate sale in a Los Angeles where it had been in a craftsman-style home. Based on its design and construction, I estimate it to be around 80–100 years old.
The top is detachable from the pedestal for easier transport (secured with screws and washers), but once assembled, the table is sturdy and stable. It can be easily expanded (see photos) using the functional mechanism, although the expansion leaf is no longer available.
