The piece originally had 2 brass handles but, as you can see, one is missing. It may have a lid at one time. There is a very small rim that would accommodate a lid. It is in very good condition with. No cracks or repairs. There are two small rough spots that are too small for me to call them chips. See the last two photos. There are no cracks as seen in photo 6. See less
