Unique MCM Carolyn Harris Abstract Pastel in the style of Alice Rubenstein Ehrlich. The art is on a drawing paper possible water color not heavy. Mat measures 28.25 x 22" The art measures 25 x19". Artist name is on the back top left corner. She was in school the same time as James Tucker was a curator of Weatherspoon gallery. Paper is taped on the back of mat it is loose the mat is dirty and has tears in it.
Carolyn Harris was born in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1937. In 1959, she received her B.F.A. in Painting from Woman’s College, now UNC Greensboro. She then continued her studies at UNC Chapel Hill and went on to receive her Masters in Art Education from New York University in 1961. She…
