The piece is a lovely bronze color, but since there is some rusting in areas, I suspect this may be a brass or bronze coated iron.

Great detail work, expertly crafted, and in good overall condition for it's age. Signed on the bottom as shown.

There is some rust to some areas, mainly just to where the stem connected to the base and the bobeche. General wear to the rest of the candlestick as shown, as you'd expect for a piece that's from the 1890's.
