Model nr 14 is without a doubt the most famous and most sold chair in the history of furniture. Designed in 1859 by Michael Thonet, it is considered the first true example of industrial design. Consisting of only six pieces of steam bent solid beech wood, the chair is so minimal and elegant, it still looks contemporary today. These are 8 very old originals. Underneath the seat it is marked with a paper label which dates its production between ca 1869 and 1881.

They are all stamped and labeled.
size; seat diameter 44 cm; comfortable seat height of 47 cm. Beautiful patina, lovely dark-honey color.
Webbing seats are original.
