Mid-century bedside lamp handcrafted in Italy between the 1950s and 1960s. The structure of the lamp is made with curved rattan canes and the lampshade in wicker ribbon.
The rattan cane to produce these items was woven and bent by hand after having immersed it in tubs to increase its flexibility. from the largest object to the smallest, it required attention, knowledge and a lot of time to make. This lamp shows the patina of time and has not undergone restoration.
The materials used and the design make it perfect for illuminating and decorating a Riviera style interior.
