The painting depicts a young woman beside a river. It is apparently unsigned but there is some writing on the back identifying the place and subject. It says, "Miss A.G. Ainslie, Kents Bank, Grange over Sands". There is also something below that, possibly the artist's name. It appears to be "Lanos". We have not removed the painting. It is in its original glazed and gilt gallery frame. The painting, including the frame, it is 30 1/2" high by 26" wide. The painting itself is in good condition with some minor craquelure and the frame is also in good condition with some minor distressing. Please view all photos carefully.
