Box is rectangular, entirely decorated with abalone seashell, wood lined, finished with a metal frame and small bun feet. A great decorative or jewelry box to hold small items or jewelry on a vanity, nightstand table, etc., on a desk, etc. Lid is easy open/close. Marked on bottom 'Mexico' as shown in last image. Demonstrated holding jewelry, all available separately. Very good condition as shown in images. Box is a nice size, not too big or small. Dimensions: 2.25" Height x 4.13" Depth x 5.75" Width. less
