The female elk were … Read more This 18" square painting was inspired by a scene that I witnessed at Yellowstone National Park. The female elk were gathered in the greens, grazing, relaxing, even doing yoga poses! It was a joy to be inspired by them. The painting is a reworked piece that I added many, many layers of brown, pink, orange and gold. This piece is done on a cradled wood panel and comes ready to hang as is with the sides painted a warm brown. I am a professional artist and have been painting animals for over 20 years. See less
