- Coming from a fine New York city estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this English Regency Bamboo Style … more Coming from a fine New York city estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this English Regency Bamboo Style Coffee / Tray Table. Base is done in Regency bamboo style carved wood, ebony finished, with a crossed "X" stretcher (please see photos). The main feature is the spectacular tray on top, which is an original antique 19th century hand painted paper mache tray, that alone can be used as a large wall hanging decoration. It is decorated with most beautiful hand painted floral scene. Good condition overall, shows light use / age wear, as it was restored not log ago (please see photos). Table is 32" wide, 25" across, and the height is 20.5". Base is made in the first half of the 20th century, custom built for the 19th C tray. Awesome quality original, not a reproduction by any means, a rare one looker. It will mesh with traditional or mid-century modern setting, and be a topic of many conversations ! less
