Pair of Antique Italian Reticulated Cherub Plates in Green & Gold
This is a pair of beautiful antique Italian pottery plates that feature depections of 2 nude cherubs in a landscape background. The plates have a green border with reticulated cut-outs and gilt gold accents. Hand painted and marked on the back "Italy 5799." Nice condition, no chips or breaks, one plate has an old mold flaw at the neck that is under the glaze. Plates measure 5.5" across.
