Description: Jacobean-style console hand-made in the late 1800s using oak. The console shows the typical elements of the Jacobean style with … more Jacobean-style console hand-made in the late 1800s using oak. The console shows the typical elements of the Jacobean style with drawer fronts decorated with geometric shape made with molding, and hand-turned legs. The top is made of two boards with rounded edges nailed to the base. The sides feature inset, chamfered flat panels framed by flat molding and on the from we find two inset drawers. The drawers show beautiful hand-made dovetail joints. On the back the console features square legs, whereas on the front we find two hand-turned legs sitting on bun feet.
This is a beautiful and relatively small console that will look great in an entryway or office surrounded by both modern as well as antique furniture. The drawers work well and can provide a lot of storage space. less
