Lovely vintage set of cane-backed dining seating with a French, Louis XV flair. The collection consists of 2 host armchairs and 6 armless guest chairs. All bear original paint in antique white/cream with flyspeck detail. The frame features lovely curves, an attractive apron detail, and French cabriole legs with an intricate foot design. The cane backs add an elegance and lightness to the pieces. No maker's marks have been found; possibly custom made items as they came from a designer's personal estate.
Dimensions: Host chairs, 22"W x 24"D x 40.75"H, seat ht. 18", seat depth, 17", seat width 19.5", arm ht. 26.5". Guest chairs, 19"W x 24"D x 40.75", seat ht. 18".
Condition: Paint finish is very good vintage condition.
