Offered here is an original painting by Michael Aron “Shelter Island Moonrise III”, 2024. It depicts the mid-summer moonrise over Shelter Island Heights as seen from the beach at the end of Fourth Street in Greenport, looking across Peconic Bay. The water was unusually tranquil that night, allowing for a dramatic reflection. 26 x 30 as framed in wood with gold leaf.
Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy of Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and received his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. He is the proprietor of Ray New York.
