Pair of vintage bamboo chairs made custom at a local market in the Ivory Coast in the 1960's for an American expat and his wife. (Country of Origin says "Ghana" only because Chairish does not have an "Ivory Coast" or "Cote D'Ivoire" option.)
Structurally sound and extremely comfortable. Have been and can be used in both indoor and outdoor settings. One reed on one chair has a small piece missing, as pictured, but the missing piece does not impact the comfort of the chair. Two custom tan cushions are included, so the broken reed is not visible. Excellent, one-of-a-kind accent chairs with a rich history.
