It has simple, … Read more This is a sturdy, American made oak table with wooden dowel construction with a rich, honey tone. It has simple, clean lines that blend well with multiple styles. A leaf at either side can be drawn separately or together to accommodate variable numbers of diners. Hidden beneath the leaves is a secret compartment accessed by a lever under the table that pops up the center panel of the table top. The hidden compartment measures 29.5" x 22" x4", great for storing linens, napkins or hiding away your best silverware. This table seats 4 without leaves drawn, 6 comfortably with both leaves drawn but has seated up to 8, on occasions. The top measures 36"w x 39"L without leaves and 36"w x 67"L with both leaves drawn. Each leaf adds 36"w x 14"L. Table surface is 29 1/4" from the floor. Bottom of the apron edge trim is 23 1/2" from the floor. Space between legs is 26" at top on all sides. See less
