A signed art glass bowl with shell designs by American glass artist Daniel Gaumer. Signed "David Gaumer 004-03-39" to the underside, this decorative bowl is orange in color with a darker orange rim. Glass shell designs are adhered to darker orange glass circles on the exterior.
Daniel Gaumer was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and studied at the Philadelphia College of Art. His works utilize the pate de verre method, where crushed glass is put into a mold and is fired at high temperatures before being attached to the main glass piece. less
