Rare pair of laminated Walnut Sled Chairs designed by Hans Juergens for Deco House, circa 1960
Chairs have been fully restored and show beautifully with no breaks or chips in wood.
These would have originally had simple pad style cushions as shown in the original advertisement. We've left cushion choice to the buyer. Seat height with cushion is approximately 16"
Price is for the pair.
Hans Juergens. A Chicago based designer, he had emigrated from Eastern Germany, studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology's Institute of Design and was employed by Deco House from 1963-1965.
The chairs are not labeled, however, the attribution is supported by the original add.
