This lovely statement piece is an original batik on muslin by notable artist, Gina Lombardi.
This is not a block print. Which means there are no others to be found like this. Also, the artist no longer works in batik so there will be no other new batiks of hers to be had ever again.
This is one of the first batiks she ever did back in the early 70s.
The piece was professionally mounted, stretched and framed. The back still bears the tag of her framer and agent, Greg Copeland and is dated 1970’s.
It measures 40 3/4” tall and 30 3/4” wide.
