On the Design:

This new flat weave reinvents vintage Scandinavian Kilim in ways that both honor the Swedish minimalist aesthetic and modernize its construction. Our use of undyed natural yarns, for example, lends a subtle striae with more of a sense of movement and depth—a subtle nod to Rollakan techniques in a modern fashion. This particular rug enjoys geometric patterns in tones of light blue, with intricate variations and accents from the aforementioned weaving technique. Admirers of the craft will appreciate this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
