These magnificent eighteenth-century hand-coloured engravings by Giovanni Ottaviani after drawings by Pietro Camporesi and Gaetano Savorelli are direct renderings of the early sixteenth century grotesque decorations adorning the walls of the Loggie di Raffaelo in the Vatican Palace, Rome.
