Chic and unique\.is this very rare sofa by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. Model: MB01. Period: early 1950s. This fantastic 3-seater sofa/sofa is from the well-known birch series from Pastoe. Still equipped with the original green/grey/pink stripe velvet fabric. Characteristic are the beautiful unique bentwood loop legs, which provide an airy character, as do the eye-catching plywood sides. The 2 matching roll cushions complete the luxurious feeling. This sofa can also be used as a sofa bed. The backrest can be reversed, making way for a single sleeping place from the sofa function. Considering its age in good vintage condition. This sofa is a well-known design classic and looks beautiful in both a vintage and modern interior. Definitely a collector's item, I love it!
