An Extremely well-constructed English Victorian Bookslide of good size proportions, mid Nineteenth Century, of outstanding quality and condition. The adjustable base raised on a plain spreading support with string inlay.
Each hinged folding bookends with Dutch Marquetry style inlay.
Condition: Good condition with no losses, nice surface patination, original firm fitting hinges, original base underneath a bit worn.
