This pair of blue and white Staffordshire style dog bookends is apparently a rare find and like no others we’ve ever found.
The dogs are resting against a volume and all is covered in a blue and white calico chintz design. The base of each is cobalt blue. The bookends are a larger size and have a good weight - they will make a presence on your shelves or table top.
They are not marked at all so age is estimated by the estate from which they came. less
