A very good quality & … more A fine & large antique giltwood French Louis XVI wall or overmatel mirror, circa 1870.
A very good quality & immensely attractive rectangular wall mirror with stepped corners and oval reserve to the centre, bordered by a moulded 'egg & dart' surround. The pediment with a large floral reserve and a pair of nesting lovebirds, with a significant draped garland of flowers and entwined ribbons. with floral ornamnet to each corner ribbon tied swag of ribbon to the base.
The central oval bevelled plate with four smaller angle bevelled plates within beaded surrounds, all the mirrors are original. Condition is good, this very attractive antique mirror is ready to hang and grace your space. less
