Vintage: 1890's-1900, Sheffield Anglo-Indian, English Silver plate wicker woven-handled individual tea pot or coffee pot server by L. B. S. Co. Silversmith's In great to excellent condition given the era of manufacture. The L.B.S. stands for Lawerence B. Smith & Company out of Sheffield, England. Not only is the handle a decorative theme, but also utilitarian as metal was hot to handle when very hot liquid like coffee or tea were filled, and a singular serving pieces along a porcelain tea/coffee cup was of the times, and a way to protect ones hands from the heat transmitted onto the silver server.
