Rare Pair of Hollywood Regency cabinets or chests in the manner of James Mont or Dorothy Draper (often attributed to Lane as the manufacturer - however, there is no maker's mark on this set).
These vintage cabinets/chests were purchased
from Scout Design Studio in Texas. Scout Design Studio professionally refurbished these items inside and out (see Scout placard on door). They are lacquered in Benjamin Moore gloss “swiss coffee.” Gold leaf paint was used to outline each of the doors and the rosette medallions were finished in matte gold.
In addition to their striking beauty, these cabinets/chests provide incredible storage,
blending seamlessly in an entry hall, living room, dining room, office or bedroom.
